Part-time Server
About The Position
Immanuel Communities is seeking a Part-time Server to work at Deerfield, located at 13731 Hickman Road, Urbandale, IA 50323. Deerfield has 122 independent living apartment homes, 32 independent living patio homes, 20 assisted living, 24 residential care apartment homes and 30 long-term care/skilled nursing suites. We are looking for someone with a flexible availability to work some weekdays 4:00pm-7:00pm and/or some weekend shifts 7:00am-2:00pm, 11:00am-2:00pm, and/or 4:00pm-7:00pm with an average of 16 hours/week. Minimum age of 14 is required for this position. This position will pay up to $16.15/hour (straight pay/no tips). Pay will be based upon experience, certifications, skills and education.

- Minimum age of 14 years old required.

- Previous food service experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Take orders and serve food to residents and guests in a courteous and professional manner.
- Set-up the dining room and designated areas in the kitchen in anticipation of meals.
- Clear tables.
- Meet diners’ needs.
- Handle food safely.
- Deliver food to apartments.
- Clean kitchen and dining areas.
