Requirements
- Minimum of 18 years of age
- Two years serving experience and/or training preferred
- Serv Safe may be required to obtain within a designated time frame, depending upon location of hire
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
Responsibilities
- Interacting with customers
- Setting up and maintaining a clean and sanitized serving area
- Preparing and serving food items
- Restocking food areas
- Cleaning and sanitizing equipment
- Receiving payment for food and beverages using a computerized register
- Provides outstanding customer service and effectively communicates with patrons and co-workers
- Demonstrates ability to establish effective working relationships
- Maintains quality control standards
- Operates equipment such as, beverage machines, toasters, ice cream dispensers, cash registers, computerized cash registers, steam equipment, dishwashers, refrigerators and freezers
- Follows established systems for taking, placing, and delivering orders
- Accountable for credit card and cash transactions
- Serves catered parties
- Follows established standards for greeting, cocktail service, food delivery and general service techniques
- Answers questions regarding any menu item and offers suggestions of menu items when appropriate
- Practices tray service for all food and beverage service
- Possesses ability to work independently when necessary
- Possesses an understanding of food safety and sanitation processes
- Demonstrates ability to be on feet for the majority of the day and walk far distances
- Incorporates safe work practices in job performance
- Performs other duties as required
