About The Position

The Server works in the community’s fine-dining in-house restaurant, serving food to residents and guests as part of a team. The restaurant offers made-to-order dining with fresh ingredients, seasonal and regional menus, and daily specials. The position offers part-time hours and no late nights. The employer provides training.

Requirements

• Maintain required food-handler certifications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare tables, present menus, answer questions, and make suggestions about food and service.
• Stay knowledgeable about posted daily specials.
• Write food orders and relay them to the kitchen.
• Serve courses from the kitchen and service bars.
• Clear and reset counters or tables after each course.
• Help keep dining tables, chairs, floors, linens, and serving stations clean, bussed, and stocked.
• Maintain required food-handler certifications.
