Requirements

  • Excellent personal and customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Well-organized with ability to accurately take, place, and deliver food & beverage orders to guests and patrons.
  • Ability to operate point-of-sale systems.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.
  • Must be able to complete the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation.
  • Must be at least sixteen years old (at least 21 years old to serve alcoholic beverages).
  • Must successfully complete restaurant’s training course.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience as a server preferred.
  • Food handlers training preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests upon seating and ensure tables are clean, properly set, and fully stocked with utensils, napkins, and other essentials.
  • Present menus, highlight daily specials, and provide knowledgeable answers to guest questions regarding menu items.
  • Accurately take food and beverage orders and communicate them to the kitchen.
  • Deliver food, beverages, condiments, and requested items promptly and with care.
  • Verify orders are prepared correctly and meet guest expectations; promptly resolve any issues with the kitchen when needed.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the meal and respond to additional needs as they arise.
  • Clear tables efficiently by removing used dishes and resetting as guests finish dining.
  • Prepare guest checks, process payments, and handle transactions accurately.
  • Assist with general restaurant duties including dining room cleanliness, table maintenance, and preparation of silverware and condiments.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to support smooth restaurant operations.
