Server 9am-5pm $15-21 (Full Time)
About The Position
Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Server to join our team at Vitalia Montrose. This role involves greeting residents, fostering a welcoming dining environment, preparing tables and meals, maintaining cleanliness, and observing residents' dietary habits and appetite changes. The ideal candidate will be at least sixteen years old, possess strong English communication skills, have a positive and energetic attitude, and be physically capable of standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, and assisting residents with mobility and after falls. Criminal clearance is required.
Requirements
- At least sixteen (16) years of age.
- Read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency.
- Positive and energetic attitude.
- Active role requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
- Criminally cleared.
Responsibilities
- Greet residents and make them feel welcome.
- Be present in the dining room, mingle, and entertain.
- Foster an environment where residents can connect.
- Prepare tables for service, salads for the next meal, or roll silverware.
- Buss tables and sweep floors.
- Communicate with supervisors and Wellness regarding poor dietary habits, changes in appetite, or resident absences from meals.
