This position's primary responsibility is to serve meals to our Members/Guests. The Server will present menus, answer questions, and make suggestions regarding food, beverages, and wines. They will relay orders accurately to the kitchen, serve courses, and perform assigned side work, including stocking credenzas to SOP. The Server is expected to greet Members/Guests in a timely, friendly, and professional manner, using their name at least three times during the service period. This role involves efficiently delivering and serving food and/or beverage orders, ensuring stations are restocked for the next meal, and checking out with a supervisor. The Server must be knowledgeable of menu items, preparation, and prices, and be responsible for the financial accounting of each station according to established procedures, including the proper use of the Infogenesis system. They will respond to and inform supervisors of any Member/Guest questions, complaints, suggestions, or maintenance issues. Attendance at Resort training classes and outlet staff meetings is required. Employees in this position may be expected to work in various Food and Beverage outlets depending on business levels and are expected to work holidays wherever needed, even if their primary outlet is closed.
