About The Position

McMenamins Boon's Treasury is hiring for a Server. McMenamins is a family-owned company in Oregon and Washington that serves handcrafted beer, wine, cider, spirits, and coffee alongside pub fare. Servers will handle all tasks from opening to closing in a multi-tasking environment, including greeting customers, seating guests, providing knowledgeable service, taking food and beverage orders, delivering products, serving food and drinks, bussing tables, restocking supplies, using a POS system, collecting payment, dishwashing, general cleaning, working indoors and outdoors, maintaining customer relations, and setting up/breaking down service areas. Servers are responsible for balancing bookwork at the end of each shift and turning in all cash and non-cash receipts. This role is physically demanding, requires mental agility, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Servers must work well independently and as part of a team.

Requirements

Must be 21+ years of age
Must have a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Must enjoy working in a busy customer service-oriented environment
Must obtain and maintain a current food handlers card and OLCC card

Previous related experience is preferred

Responsibilities

Greeting incoming customers
Working with the host station in seating guests or directing them to choose their preferred seating
Providing a level of knowledgeable service to tables
Taking food and beverage orders
Delivering products in a timely manner
Serving food, beer, wine and spirits
Bussing tables and restocking supplies
Placing orders on a POS system
Collecting payment
Dishwashing
General cleaning
Working outside and indoors
Maintaining customer relations with all guests
Setting up and breakdown of service and work areas so they are well stocked and organized for efficient and safe service
Balancing bookwork at the end of every shift
Turning in all appropriate cash and non-cash receipts
