About The Position
Provide quick, efficient, and pleasant service of food and beverage to residents and guests, ensuring their needs are met. This role is part of a friendly, team atmosphere within a premier retirement community, focused on enriching the lives of residents with HEART: Hospitality, Excellence, Appreciation, Respect & Teamwork.
Requirements
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English.
- Basic computer skills for POS and payroll systems.
- Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to maintain a positive and friendly demeanor toward residents and co-workers.
- Must go through food safety training to obtain and/or hold any required local, state, and/or county required food handling/sanitation licenses and/or certificates.
Nice To Haves
- Previous food service experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Accept food orders.
- Communicate orders to the kitchen.
- Deliver food and beverages to residents and/or guests in a timely manner.
- Ensure resident/guest satisfaction by responding quickly to needs and requests.
- Actively bus and reset tables.
- Complete assigned side work.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward all residents, visitors, and co-workers.
