We are seeking a reliable and courteous Server for our Independent Living dining services who enjoys creating memorable dining moments and brings energy, attention to detail, and professionalism to their role. This position offers the opportunity to provide restaurant-style service in an upscale senior living environment.
Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Ability to read, write, and follow instructions in English
- Physical exam showing freedom from communicable diseases required
- Courteous, dependable, and team-oriented
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in restaurant or hospitality settings preferred
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat residents and guests with warmth and professionalism
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and enter them into the point-of-sale (POS) system
- Serve meals and beverages efficiently, ensuring excellent presentation and accuracy
- Check in with residents during meals and respond promptly to additional service needs
- Perform side work including table setup, restocking, and cleaning to maintain a polished dining room
- Coordinate closely with kitchen staff to ensure timely and smooth service
- Adhere to food safety, sanitation, and infection control protocols
- Respond to resident feedback and service needs with respect and a helpful attitude
