About The Position

Lavender Rooftop Kitchen + Bar is seeking a Server to welcome guests with exceptional hospitality, take accurate orders, deliver food and beverages, and ensure a memorable dining experience. The role involves processing payments, resetting tables, maintaining a clean environment, and supporting teammates in a fast-paced setting.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
A positive, professional attitude and strong work ethic.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to anticipate guest needs and provide friendly, attentive service.
A genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
Ability to remain calm and organized in a fast-paced environment.
A caring and respectful attitude toward guests, coworkers, vendors, and job candidates.
The ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8 hours), with occasional bending, reaching, and lifting.

High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

Welcome every guest with a warm, genuine smile and provide exceptional hospitality from arrival to departure.
Serve water, coffee, and beverages promptly after greeting guests.
Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate them efficiently to the kitchen and bar.
Deliver food and beverages in a timely, professional manner.
Garnish and present menu items according to restaurant standards.
Occasionally serve dishes tableside when appropriate.
Anticipate guest needs by checking on tables throughout the dining experience.
Process guest payments accurately and efficiently, including handling cash and making change when needed.
Reset and prepare tables for the next guests.
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming dining environment.
Support your teammates and contribute to a positive guest experience.
Perform other duties as assigned.
