About The Position

IHOP is seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Servers to provide exceptional dining experiences for our guests. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
Positive attitude and a strong commitment to guest satisfaction.
Basic math skills for handling payments.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Knowledge of food safety practices is a plus.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and present menus.
Answer questions about menu items, ingredients, and daily specials.
Take accurate food and beverage orders using a point-of-sale system.
Deliver food and beverages to tables efficiently and courteously.
Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests.
Clear and reset tables promptly and efficiently.
Handle guest concerns and complaints professionally and escalate when necessary.
Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and other team members.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and service stations.
Process payments and accurately handle cash and credit card transactions.
Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
