About The Position

As a Server at Barney's Beanery LAX, you will play a crucial role in delivering an exceptional dining experience to our diverse clientele. Your primary objective is to provide attentive, friendly, and efficient service that meets the high standards of our establishment. You will be responsible for accurately taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout their visit. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery. Ultimately, your efforts will contribute to creating a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat business and positive word-of-mouth for Barney's Beanery LAX.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a server or in a customer service role within the food and beverage industry.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and making change.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts.
• Legal eligibility to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while checking in with guests to ensure satisfaction.
• Handle guest requests and resolve any issues or complaints professionally and promptly.
• Process payments accurately and manage cash or electronic transactions responsibly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables and service stations.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods.
