About The Position

Servers at Down on Grayson are responsible for delivering exceptional dining experiences by attentively interacting with guests. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a positive team environment, interacting with people, and creating memorable experiences. Requirements

Must be 18 years old or older
Must have or be able to obtain a valid and current TABC and Food Handlers certification
Must be able to work Sundays
Must be able to work at least 3 days a week, including weekends and holidays
Must be able to stand and walk for 6 or more hours in a day
Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and over 50 lbs. with assistance
Frequent lifting, carrying, bending, reaching, squatting, climbing, and walking
Exposure to loud noise, large crowds, and extreme hot/cold temperatures

Responsibilities

Greet guests in a friendly and welcoming manner
Educate guests on menu items and special deals and provide recommendations as requested
Take, review, enter, and provide food and beverage orders to/from our guests
Handle cash and credit card payments utilizing the POS system, entering tip reporting accurately
Perform additional duties as required of the position and the shift, including but not limited to rolling silverware, dish cleaning, and sanitary housekeeping when necessary to meet the needs of the customers and the business
