Provide a fine dining experience for dining room/banquet guests; take orders; serve food and beverages. Inform guests of specials and promotions, answer questions and make suggestions. Maintain knowledge of food menu items and basic/specialty alcoholic beverage items. Present bills, accept payments, operate POS systems, upholding strict cash handling procedures and accountability for all transactions. Ensure cleanliness and organization of server area. Perform opening/closing responsibilities. Practice safe food/beverage handling and cleanliness standards at all times. Adhere to quality standards and restaurant rules and procedures. Actively participates in the company's social media program by posting/sharing company fliers to personal social media accounts, if available. Performs other work-related duties as assigned.
