About The Position

Latitude, the resort’s signature breakfast destination at Black Desert Resort, provides guests with an elevated morning dining experience featuring fresh, seasonal ingredients, artisanal coffee, and impeccable service. The Server at Latitude is responsible for delivering exceptional guest service by providing a warm and welcoming dining experience during service. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a seamless and enjoyable meal for all guests. The Server plays a key role in setting the tone for the guest experience each morning, offering attentive service in a refined yet relaxed atmosphere. The position will also support pool service during peak seasons.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a server in a fine dining or upscale casual restaurant preferred.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills with a guest-focused mindset.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of breakfast service, including coffee, tea, and morning cocktails, is a plus.
  • Proficiency with POS systems and handling guest transactions.
  • Professional demeanor, punctuality, and reliability.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Flexibility to work early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays based on resort operations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide prompt and courteous service to guests, ensuring an exceptional breakfast and brunch experience.
  • Greet guests warmly, present menus, and offer recommendations based on dietary preferences.
  • Accurately take food and beverage orders, ensuring special requests and modifications are properly communicated to the kitchen.
  • Serve food and beverages efficiently, maintaining attention to detail and presentation.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction, addressing any needs or concerns promptly.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, service areas, and dining spaces.
  • Assist with table setups, refilling beverages, and delivering additional items as needed.
  • Process guest payments accurately using the POS system.
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen and front-of-house team to ensure smooth service flow.
  • Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation regulations, ensuring compliance with food handling guidelines.
  • Participate in pre-shift meetings to review service expectations, daily specials, and operational updates.
  • Other duties as assigned.
