About The Position

The Server is responsible for delivering an exceptional dining experience by providing professional, attentive service. This role requires a team player who can maintain a clean, organized work environment and adhere to the club's high standards of hospitality and etiquette.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in a high-profile or fine-dining environment is typically preferred.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is often required.
  • Must be of legal age to serve alcohol and may require a food handler’s license and TIPS alcohol certification.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Basic math skills for processing transactions.
  • Proficiency with POS systems.

Responsibilities

  • Greet members and guests promptly, often by name, and provide immediate attention once they are seated.
  • Present menus, explain daily specials, and offer food and wine pairing recommendations based on member preferences.
  • Accurately record orders in a point-of-sale (POS) system (e.g., Jonas) and communicate any special dietary needs to the culinary team.
  • Set and reset tables according to club standards, clear used dishes between courses, and ensure service stations remain fully stocked.
  • Process member charges and guest bills accurately, ensuring member numbers and signatures are captured correctly.
  • Complete all pre-shift and post-shift side work, including cleaning and organizing work areas.
