About The Position

As a Server at IHOP, you will be responsible for providing exceptional dining experiences to our guests. This includes taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
Strong customer service orientation and a friendly, outgoing personality.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests promptly and courteously.
Present menus, answer questions about menu items, and make recommendations.
Take accurate food and beverage orders using a POS system.
Serve food and beverages efficiently and professionally.
Monitor guest tables to ensure satisfaction and respond to any additional requests.
Clear and reset tables in a timely manner.
Handle guest inquiries and resolve any complaints or issues with professionalism.
Process payments accurately and efficiently.
Maintain a clean and organized dining area and workstation.
Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth service.
