Il Fornaio is seeking an enthusiastic and professional Server to join our front-of-house team. As a Server, you are the ambassador of hospitality, guiding guests through our menu, sharing knowledge of Italian food and wine, and ensuring every guest leaves with a memorable dining experience.

Requirements

Prior experience as a server in an upscale or high-volume restaurant preferred
Strong knowledge or interest in Italian cuisine and wine
A genuine passion for hospitality and guest service
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

Greet guests with warmth and genuine hospitality
Guide guests through the menu with confidence, offering recommendations and upselling when appropriate
Deliver food and beverages with accuracy, efficiency, and elegance
Ensure tables are clean, organized, and properly set throughout service
Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with kitchen and bar staff
Uphold Il Fornaio's standards of service, quality, and cleanliness
Handle guest concerns or complaints with grace, urgency, and professionalism
Comply with all food safety and sanitation standards
