Fraunces Tavern, located in lower Manhattan, is a historic restaurant and bar known for its history, craft beer, diverse selection of spirits, and different dining areas. In this role, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have an exceptional dining experience. Your primary responsibilities will include taking orders, serving food and drinks, providing recommendations from our extensive craft beer and spirits menu, and delivering top-notch customer service.
Requirements
- Previous serving experience in a fast-paced restaurant or bar setting
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Strong multitasking abilities and attention to detail.
- Positive attitude and a passion for providing exceptional customer service.
- Knowledge of craft beer and spirits.
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Provide detailed explanations of menu items.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders.
- Serve guests promptly and accurately.
- Ensure guests' needs are met and resolve any issues or concerns with professionalism.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including tables, dining areas, and service stations.
