Server / Waitstaff No Late Nights
About The Position
Alto Hickory Creek is hiring a Full-Time Server / Waitstaff to join our Dining Services team in our beautiful senior living community. If you enjoy providing exceptional service but want a more predictable and rewarding environment than traditional restaurants, we'd love to connect with you. At Alto Hickory Creek, our dining team does more than serve meals. We build relationships, brighten residents' days, and create dining experiences that residents genuinely look forward to. Unlike traditional restaurants, you'll serve the same residents each day and become an important part of their community. Many of our servers come from restaurants, hotels, and hospitality environments and love the improved work-life balance that senior living offers. You'll still get to provide exceptional service while enjoying more predictable schedules, no late-night closings, and residents who truly appreciate what you do. The primary responsibility of the Server is to accommodate residents and guests during their dining experience by attending to their needs in a friendly, timely, and professional manner.
Requirements
- Must be a minimum of 16 years of age.
- Must pay attention to detail, be flexible/adaptable, have safety awareness, and be a team player.
- Must have positive Criminal Background Screening.
- The Community is a drug free workplace; associates are subject to adherence to the Company Drug Free Workplace policy.
- Ability to work weekends as scheduled
Nice To Haves
- Previous serving, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred
- Food serving experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat residents and guests in a timely and professional manner as well as approach and interact with residents and guests in a friendly, service-oriented, and professional manner.
- Serve food in an efficient and professional manner.
- Clear tables of glasses, silverware, dishes, etc. when residents and guests have finished a course or their meal according to Company protocol.
- Maintain a clean dining room. Chairs, windows, floors, and all work areas should be wiped down and sanitized after every meal period.
- Deliver and retrieve trays to and from residents’ apartments as needed.
- Label and date all food.
