About The Position

Rotolo's Craft & Crust is looking for Servers to join their team. The primary objective is to provide friendly, responsive service to create an exceptional dining experience for all guests, ensuring they have a marvelous time and want to return.

Requirements

Must be able to communicate and understand the predominant language(s) of our guests.
Must have a basic knowledge of dining room and service procedures and functions.
Possess basic math skills.
Ability to handle money and operate a point-of-sale system.
Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
Be able to safely lift and easily maneuver trays of food frequently weighing up to 20 to 25 pounds.
FOHM qualifications: must have server experience.
Willing to assist GM with scheduling.
Willing to learn POS system backwards and forwards.
Willing to assist with liquor orders.

Nice To Haves

Server experience: 1 year (Preferred)
Restaurant experience: 1 year (Preferred)

Responsibilities

Welcome and greet guests.
Make guests feel comfortable and attended to.
Inform guests of specials and menu changes.
Make menu recommendations.
Answer questions about food, beverages, and restaurant functions.
Take food and beverage orders and enter them into the point-of-sale system.
Deliver food and beverages to guests in a timely manner.
Perform side work at the start and end of shifts.
Maintain clean service areas.
Monitor guests' dining experience and ensure satisfaction.
Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests.
Prepare final bills, present checks, accept payments, and process credit card charges or make change.
Assist fellow servers as needed.
Assist with bussing and cleaning tables.
Thank guests and invite them to return.
Be available to fill in as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
