About The Position

Rotolo's Craft & Crust is looking for Servers to join their team. The primary objective is to provide friendly, responsive service to create an exceptional dining experience for all guests, making them want to return again and again.

Requirements

• Must be able to communicate and understand the predominant language(s) of our guests.
• Must have a basic knowledge of dining room and service procedures and functions.
• Possess basic math skills.
• Ability to handle money.
• Ability to operate a point-of-sale system.
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
• Be able to safely lift and easily maneuver trays of food, frequently weighing up to 20 to 25 pounds.
• FOHM qualifications: must have server experience.
• Willing to assist the GM with scheduling.
• Willing to learn POS system thoroughly.
• Willing to assist with liquor orders.

Nice To Haves

• Serving experience: 1 year (Preferred)
• Restaurant experience: 1 year (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet guests.
• Make guests feel comfortable and attended to.
• Inform guests of specials and menu changes.
• Make menu recommendations.
• Answer questions about food, beverages, and restaurant functions.
• Take food and beverage orders and enter them into the point-of-sale system.
• Deliver food and beverages to guests promptly.
• Perform side work at the start and end of shifts.
• Maintain clean service areas.
• Monitor guests' dining experience and ensure satisfaction.
• Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests.
• Prepare final bills, present checks, accept payments, and process transactions.
• Assist fellow servers as needed.
• Assist with bussing and cleaning tables.
• Thank guests and invite them to return.
• Assist with restaurant operations as directed by management.
