About The Position

We are hiring immediately for full time and part time SERVER LEAD positions at Concordia University. This role involves taking and delivering food/drink orders while creating an overall enjoyable dining experience and promoting a clean and safe environment for guests. The Server Lead will also serve as the point person for work-related requests communicated to unit management, train and acclimate new associates to the company and client culture, demonstrate a complete understanding of all menu items and ingredients, and promptly address and correct any complaints or issues. Additionally, the Server Lead will assist in the selection and orientation of employees and oversee staff training in their areas of responsibility.

Requirements

Prior server and supervisory experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Serves as the point person through which all work related requests are communicated to unit management.
Trains and acclimates new associates to the company culture, the client's culture and the operations.
Demonstrates a complete understanding of all menu items and ingredients.
Promptly addresses and corrects any complaints or issues.
Assists in the selection and orientation of employees and oversees training of staff in areas of responsibility.
Performs other duties as assigned.
