About The Position

The server/food runner will be responsible for providing excellent table service while also assisting in delivering food from the kitchen to our guests efficiently and accurately.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) or six months to one year job-related experience and/or training; must be able to obtain a liquor server license.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to stay calm and positive under pressure.
  • Must be able to lift trays and stand/walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to explain and demonstrate Hospitality Behaviors and Performance Standards.
  • Understands where to get the information needed to complete tasks to standard.
  • Can explain and demonstrate technical skills used to complete tasks to standard.
  • Can explain or demonstrate the behavioral values or standards needed to complete tasks to standard.
  • Understands how to take ownership of problems and solve them when solutions may not be available.
  • Can explain how to request help from others when needed to complete task or goal.
  • Has complete knowledge and can tell others of IMGR&C products and services.
  • Provide guests with directions or other venue information. Act upon all comments/complaints in a prompt, professional and friendly manner.
  • Performance meets expected end results and standards in Key Responsibilities and those listed on technical / operational SOP’s and task lists.
  • Responds to obstacles; finds new ways to reach desired end results.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests with a warm, friendly attitude and guide them through the dining experience.
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately and enter them into the POS system.
  • Run food from the kitchen to tables with attention to detail and timing.
  • Communicate clearly with both back-of-house and front-of-house teams.
  • Respond promptly to guest requests, issues, or questions.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, service areas, and food runner stations.
  • Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
  • Help reset tables and ensure a smooth flow of service during busy periods.
  • Other duties as assigned.
