About The Position

The Server/Dishwasher is an all-hands member of the culinary team, moving between the dining room and kitchen to help wherever needed. The role supports meal preparation, service to residents, dishwashing, table clearing, and keeping kitchen and dining areas clean and safe. Team members work closely with the Culinary Director and other culinary and waitstaff colleagues to create a positive dining experience for residents. Full-time and part-time openings, as well as per-diem hours, are mentioned.

Requirements

Prior restaurant or customer-service experience is welcome but not required; training is provided for candidates who are eager to learn.
Be willing to switch roles as needed.
Maintain a positive attitude, including during busy periods.
Be patient and understanding when responding to customer requests or concerns.
Notice when cleaning is needed and help keep dining areas tidy and safe.
Work cooperatively with the Culinary and Waitstaff teams and be ready to lend a hand.
Take pride in keeping work areas tidy and completing work well.

Responsibilities

Help prepare food as needed under the direction of the Culinary Director.
Speak with residents in a friendly manner, share the daily menu, and help ensure they are satisfied.
Serve meals to residents kindly and assist with serving when needed.
Wash dishes and ensure they are ready for the next service.
Clear tables and help maintain an inviting dining room.
Clean pots and pans and keep the kitchen area tidy.
Keep kitchen and dining areas clean and follow food-safety rules.
Clean floors and surfaces.
Reset the dining room after each meal and maintain its appearance.
