About The Position

Windsor Manor Senior Living in Grinnell is seeking a Part-Time Server / Dietary Aide to join their Dining Services team. This role offers flexible afternoon and evening shifts, with no late-night restaurant hours. The position is ideal for individuals with restaurant, hospitality, or customer service experience, or those who simply enjoy helping others. The Dining Services team plays a crucial role in creating a welcoming environment for residents, focusing on great food, meaningful conversation, and exceptional service. Requirements

Must be a minimum of 16 years of age.
Must pay attention to detail, be flexible/adaptable, have safety awareness, and be a team player.
Must have positive Criminal Background Screening.
The Community is a drug free workplace; associates are subject to adherence to the Company Drug Free Workplace policy.
Ability to work every other weekend.

Nice To Haves

Previous restaurant, hospitality, food service, or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet and seat residents and guests in a timely and professional manner.
Approach and interact with residents and guests in a friendly, service-oriented, and professional manner.
Serve food in an efficient and professional manner.
Clear tables of glasses, silverware, dishes, etc. when residents and guests have finished a course or their meal according to Company protocol.
Maintain a clean dining room. Chairs, windows, floors, and all work areas should be wiped down and sanitized after every meal period.
Deliver and retrieve trays to and from residents’ apartments as needed.
Label and date all food.
Other job duties as assigned.
