About The Position

The Server Delivery Technician Team shall be responsible for providing technical and operational support for server delivery activities within the data center. The team’s primary focus shall include daily delivery progress management, vendor supervision, asset lifecycle control, deployment inspection, and operational assistance. The service provider shall work in close coordination with internal project managers, data center operations, and crossfunctional stakeholders to ensure all deployment and maintenance activities are conducted safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with applicable standards and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage daily server delivery progress; identify, resolve, or escalate delivery risks in a timely manner.
  • Escort and supervise vendors during on-site operations within the data hall.
  • Coordinate and manage vendor activities to ensure adherence to ByteDance operational and safety standards.
  • Facilitate asset verification and receiving process, ensuring full alignment with delivery documentation and inventory systems.
  • Inspect cabling deployment for compliance with design specifications and quality standards.
  • Conduct server deployment inspections, including verification of physical mounting, labeling, compliance, housekeeping, manifold connections, CDU water/temperature/pressure levels, pressure testing, EPDM, and hose connections.
  • Provide operating system installation support as instructed by internal technical teams for delivery or handover purposes.
  • Conduct regular data hall walkthroughs and inspections to identify risks, irregularities, or compliance issues.
  • Conduct inspection of racks, L-brackets, and rPDUs as required.
  • Provide remote hands support, including basic troubleshooting, physical verification, and patching assistance.
  • Ensure full QA/QC compliance and adherence to all site safety regulations.
  • Prepare and submit daily work summary and progress reports.
  • Support incident escalation and resolution processes.
  • Perform post-work verification and complete handover.
  • Maintain effective communication capabilities in both English and Thai languages.
