About The Position
Responsible for providing drink service in the outlet/bar while ensuring guests are served and ensuring all procedures regarding alcohol dispensing are followed. You will report to the Beverage Shift Manager. This is an on-call temporary position to assist with exciting events at Choctaw Landing!
Requirements
- Can obtain/maintain ABLE Certification
- Read, write and understand simple instructions
- 1-3 months of equivalent combination of education and experience
- Requires basic math skills
Responsibilities
- Greet guests and explain all special promotions.
- Take orders, reciting selection of all call and premium brands as requested; requires memorization of all available drinks.
- Input orders into point-of-sale system to inform bartender an order was placed.
- Replenish beverages as requested, frequently checking back with Guest to inquire about satisfaction.
- Deliver beverage to patrons while ensuring payment.
- Check and maintain proper setup and cleanliness of service station before, during and after shift.
- Maintain cleanliness of Guest areas including removing empty glasses/bottles and cleaning ashtray.
- Confirm age compliance by checking the identification of any individual ordering alcoholic beverages.
- Perform other tasks as may be assigned.
