About The Position

Venetian River Club is seeking friendly, attentive, and service-minded Servers / Bartenders to join our Food & Beverage team. In this role, you’ll play an important part in creating a welcoming dining experience by providing attentive service, ensuring order accuracy, preparing, and serving beverages, and helping maintain the high standards our members and guests expect. Located within a 1,000-acre, Northern Italian Renaissance-inspired gated community, Venetian River Club serves as the heart of the community. The Mediterranean-style clubhouse offers a variety of dining experiences, from fine and casual dining to a poolside tiki bar, along with year-round lifestyle programming. Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous server and bartender experience required
Strong customer service skills with a positive, outgoing attitude.
Knowledge of food and beverage, including wine, beer, and cocktails.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of service.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Weekend and holiday availability required.
Ability to perform moderate physical work and may be required to lift up to 30 lbs., up to 20 lbs. frequently and up to 10 lbs. constantly.
Perform activities such as bending, kneeling, crouching, climbing, reaching, standing, pushing, lifting and grasping for up to 5 hours without sitting.
Ability to consistently lift, carry and load equipment that may weigh 30 or more pounds, and sustain aerobic activity for 20 consecutive minutes.

Responsibilities

Greet members and guests with a friendly, welcoming attitude.
Take food and drink orders and ensure accurate delivery.
Provide menu recommendations and answer any questions about the menu, specials, and wine pairings.
Ensure prompt and efficient service in a fast-paced environment.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and ensure guest satisfaction.
Process payments, handle cash and credit card transactions accurately.
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to members and guests.
Take drink orders, mix and garnish drinks according to recipes and member / guest preferences.
Ensure the bar area is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
Monitor member /guest behavior and adhere to all laws and club policies regarding responsible alcohol service.
Create a friendly and engaging atmosphere for guests.
Provide excellent customer service, making sure every guest feels valued and taken care of.
Maintain knowledge of the club’s policies, menus, and events to provide accurate information to guests.
Ensure the bar and dining areas are stocked, clean, and presentable.
Comply with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
Performs other duties as requested.
