About The Position

The Arlington is recruiting for a hospitality focused Server/Bartender to join our culinary team. This role provides full-scope, hands on serving functions for the culinary department. This position is a part time position that includes rotating weekends.

Requirements

• Candidate must be 21 years of age or older.
• Knowledge of POS systems and beverage inventory procedures.

Nice To Haves

• 1+ years of bartending or upscale hospitality experience preferred.
• Experience in senior living preferred.

Responsibilities

• Always exemplify Community standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and organization.
• Responsible for adhering to food quality, appearance, and presentation standards always.
• Exhibit dining room appearance and presentation standards always.
• Prepare and serve cocktails, wine, beer, mocktails, specialty beverages, coffee and other refreshments according to established standards.
• Demonstrate knowledge of classic cocktails, contemporary beverages, wine, spirits and responsible alcohol service.
• Set tables and maintain workstations in proper order.
• Take order, provide service and requested items both graciously and courteously.
• Answer pertinent questions about menu items.
• Serve customers using proper serving etiquette and promote an inviting dining atmosphere.
