About The Position

The Server Assistant will be responsible for clearing dirty table settings, preparing tables for resetting, and maintaining the cleanliness and stock of stations. This role involves serving guests with beverages, breads, and butter, assisting with food and beverage service to ensure guest satisfaction, and transporting dirty tableware to the dishwashing area. The Server Assistant plays a key role in ensuring a smooth and pleasant dining experience for guests.

Requirements

One year restaurant (food industry) experience preferred.
Well organized, detail-oriented, with excellent follow-up skills.

Responsibilities

Quickly clear dirty table settings and prepare table for resetting.
Promptly and consistently reset all silverware as prescribed.
Maintain stock and cleanliness of stations for all meal periods with necessary equipment including silverware, linen and condiments.
Wipe down booths and chairs, move tables and chairs, and clean floors as necessary.
Serve guests with beverages, breads and butter to begin their dining experience and replenish as necessary.
Assist server with food & beverage service to ensure guest satisfaction.
Transport all dirty tableware from restaurant to dishwashing area for proper cleaning.
