About The Position

Juniper Preserve is seeking a Server's Assistant! Qualified candidates will thrive in a hospitality environment and be highly focused on providing superior service. This is a seasonal position with shifts from Wednesday through Sunday, primarily PM shifts. The role involves greeting customers, managing reservations and waitlists, seating guests, and delivering food orders. Responsibilities also include handling phone calls, assisting staff, ensuring tables are clean and set, and maintaining a tidy dining area.

Requirements

  • Must be dressed neatly and well-groomed in company-approved uniform at all times.
  • Must be able to operate P.O.S. computer, make change correctly, and make credit card transactions accurately.
  • Must be able to read and write notes to hearing-impaired guests.
  • Must be able to pass server validation.
  • Able to pass a drug test for illegal substances.
  • Must maintain current Food Handler Card and OLCC Service Permit.

  • Seats guests/customers and hands out menus
  • Quickly and accurately delivers food orders from the kitchen to the customers
  • Answers the phone to take reservations and questions
  • Set and clear tables in a timely manner, ensuring that each table is clean and properly set with utensils, condiments, and other necessary items.
  • Assist servers with food and beverage service, delivering food and drinks to tables, and clearing plates and glasses.
  • Ensure that the dining area is clean and organized at all times, including cleaning spills and maintaining a tidy appearance of the dining room.
  • Communicate with the kitchen staff and servers to ensure that orders are prepared correctly and delivered promptly to guests.
  • Handle customer complaints and special requests in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Follow all safety and sanitation procedures, including proper handling and disposal of food, and use of cleaning chemicals.
  • Support Food & Beverage teams by providing assistance in various areas as needed to ensure smooth operations.
