About The Position
The Clare, the only Continuing Care Retirement Community in the Gold Coast area, is seeking a part-time Server Assistant for their Dining Department. This role provides assistance in all dietary functions as directed by the Dining Room Manager, focusing on setting up and cleaning dining areas, maintaining sanitation standards, and completing daily tasks such as trash removal and operating the dish machine. The position offers variable hours, including AM and PM shifts, with a minimum of 20 hours per week.
Requirements
- Compassionate and highly qualified Server Assistant with a love for providing outstanding customer service.
- Must pass a criminal background check, drug screen, and physical exam.
Responsibilities
- Provides assistance in all dietary functions as directed/instructed by the Dining Room Manager.
- Responsible for set-up and clean-up of glasses, dishware, and silverware used for meal service for all dining rooms.
- Maintains all work and work areas appropriately and in compliance with food code sanitation standards and community policies and procedures.
- Works alone at times and as part of a team at times.
- Completes assigned tasks daily that may include trash removal, operating the dish machine, and special clean-up.
