About The Position
The Server Assistant is essential to the smooth and efficient meal service within Le Depot. They ensure table orders are coursed correctly, plated correctly and match the guests specifications as indicated on the kitchen ticket.
Requirements
- 2 years serving experience in a fine dining restaurant preferred; or 1 year experience in a Server Assistant role
- Very strong communication skills
- Present a positive, professional image
- Knowledge of fine dining cuisine; preferably French cuisine
- Utah Food Handlers certification
Responsibilities
- Communicate with the kitchen line to fire tickets and ensure an order is accurate and complete
- Set up the front side of the line with all necessary equipment and food items
- Develop an in-depth knowledge of the menu, ingredients used, and the preparation and cooking techniques used
- Communicate 86'd menu items to front of house staff during the shift
