About The Position

You are an ambassador for the exceptional service that hallmarks the experience our guests have in our Chalet restaurant. Your warm, personal attention and knowledge of our outstanding food and beverage offerings makes guests feel unique and valued. This is a seasonal, full-time position, starting in November 2026 and ending in April 2027.

Requirements

• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
• BC Serving It Right Certificate required prior to commencing employment
• Required to be of legal age (19 years old) to serve alcohol in British Columbia
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests regarding menu items in an informative and helpful way
• Have full knowledge of beverage lists and promotions, menu items and preparation methods
• Clear tables/dishware in a timely and efficient manner
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage
