About The Position

The Busser assists servers in providing quality service to all guests and supports the management team as needed. Responsibilities include preparing and maintaining tables and service stations, delivering bread and water, clearing and resetting tables, and completing assigned side work. The role requires working on foot for at least eight hours in a fast-paced restaurant environment and performing physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, bending, and crouching.

Requirements

Ability to communicate and understand directions in English for workplace safety, and to understand, respond to, and engage with coworkers, managers, and guests in English.
Flexible schedule.
Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
Detail-oriented.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to seize, grasp, turn, and hold objects with hands.
Ability to work on foot for at least 8 hours.
Ability to move quickly between areas of the workplace.
Ability to move, pull, carry, or lift at least 40 pounds.
Ability to occasionally kneel, bend, crouch, and climb as required.

Responsibilities

Set up tables with appropriate mise en place, including ketchup, salt and pepper, HP sauce, and sugar bowls.
Ensure all stations are fully stocked and ready for service, and maintain them throughout service.
Set up candles on tables.
Detail tables before service to ensure place settings are neat and organized.
Deliver bread and water to tables in the assigned section and assist other sections when necessary.
Keep the bread warmer organized and full.
Clear tables between courses.
Clear and reset tables for new guests.
Complete assigned side work before and after service.
Perform other duties as assigned by a supervisor or manager.
