About The Position

The Server A La Carte position at the Main Clubhouse plays a vital role in delivering an exceptional dining experience to our guests by providing attentive, personalized, and professional service. This role requires a deep understanding of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to confidently guide guests through their dining choices and accommodate special requests or dietary restrictions. The server is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate order taking, coordinating with kitchen and bar staff, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment throughout the dining area. By anticipating guest needs and responding promptly to inquiries or concerns, the server helps foster a positive atmosphere that encourages repeat visits and enhances the club’s reputation. Ultimately, this position contributes directly to guest satisfaction and the overall success of the hospitality team at the Main Clubhouse.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality service role, preferably in an a la carte dining environment.
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities are essential for engaging with guests, understanding their needs, and providing personalized service that enhances their dining experience.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills are used daily to accurately take orders, manage multiple tables, and ensure timely delivery of food and beverages.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices is applied consistently to maintain a clean and safe environment for both guests and staff.
