About The Position

River Rock Casino Resort is seeking enthusiastic, customer-focused individuals to join our Food & Beverage team as Server 2. In this role, you will create memorable dining experiences by providing professional, attentive, and efficient service while maintaining the highest standards of hospitality. This position requires you to manage multiple tables, accurately take and deliver orders, and ensure customer satisfaction throughout their visit. Working in a fast-paced environment, you will collaborate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure seamless service, build positive guest relationships, and contribute to an outstanding dining atmosphere. Requirements

• Previous experience as a server or in a customer service role within the hospitality industry.
• Legal eligibility to work in Canada.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English.
• Capability to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working in a fast-paced restaurant or bar environment.
• Knowledge of additional languages to assist diverse clientele.
• Certification in food safety or responsible beverage service.
• Strong familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests promptly and courteously, ensuring a positive first impression.
• Present menus, explain daily specials, and answer any questions regarding food and beverage offerings.
• Take accurate food and drink orders and communicate them clearly to kitchen and bar staff.
• Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while checking in with guests to ensure satisfaction.
• Handle guest requests and resolve any issues or complaints professionally and efficiently.
• Process payments accurately and manage cash or electronic transactions responsibly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including setting and clearing tables.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods.
