About The Position
SERSCA Undergraduate Assistantship (UGA) positions promote student engagement in research scholarship and/or creative activity by funding awards for undergraduate students to work with faculty on research scholarship or creative projects.
Requirements
- Undergraduate students must be registered/enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall/Spring units.
- Post-baccalaureate students in a graduate program must be registered in a minimum of four (4) Fall/Spring units.
- Must verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and complete the required employment eligibility verification document form upon hire.
- Must consent to a criminal and/or child abuse background check.
Responsibilities
- Work with faculty on research
- Meet regularly with faculty sponsor
- Present research at SERSCA sponsored event in Spring 2027
- Complete final report June 2027
