About The Position

The Serger Sewing Operator position is located in Claremont, NC. You will be responsible for reading and understanding production tickets and interpreting simple sewing instructions. You will operate a serger sewing machine to sew inside border stitching on upholstery fabric, ensuring quality standards and production specifications are met. This includes making sure the sewing is straight, aligned with the cover pattern, and has no dropped stitches.

Requirements

At least 3-5 years of experience in fabric sewing for upper end upholstered furniture.
Experience in production of upper-end upholstery fabric sewing in an upholstered furniture manufacturing environment.
Ability to work in a manufacturing and fast-paced environment.
Ability to lift, pull, and manipulate heavy objects up to 50 lbs.

Nice To Haves
