About The Position
Duck Duck Rooter Plumbing & Septic Services is hiring experienced Septic Service/Install Technicians in Jacksonville, FL. This role involves locating, digging up, and replacing septic sump pumps, performing inspections, working with septic pump trucks, and replacing septic tank components. The position requires on-call availability and weekend work.
Requirements
- Capability to lift weights ranging from 50 to 150 pounds.
- Availability for on-call duties, including weekends and extended hours.
- Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
- Strong customer service orientation.
Responsibilities
- Locating, digging up and replacing septic sump pumps on a daily basis.
- Performing inspections by testing, pulling and cleaning pumps, floats.
- Working with the septic pump truck team to remove waste from dosing tanks.
- Measuring and replacing concrete septic tank lids and risers.
- Identifying, excavating, and replacing septic tanks and sump pumps.
- Conducting inspections through testing, removal, and cleaning of pumps and floats.
- Collaborating with pump trucks for septic tank pumping.
- Measuring and replacing concrete septic tank lids, risers, and outlet filters.
- Addressing calls related to septic system problems.
- Installing sump pumps and working under various weather conditions.
- Diagnosing issues with sump pumps and septic systems.
