At United Way we united resources, organizations, and people to transform our community for good. The Septemberfest Committee Coordinator will take lead on several areas of this fundraiser including overseeing volunteer committee members.

Responsibilities

Assist in developing and maintaining the Septemberfest planning timeline and task checklist.
Coordinate logistics including venue setup, permits, equipment rentals, and vendor needs.
Support vendor recruitment and communication (e.g., food trucks, entertainment, beverage providers, artisans).
Help secure sponsorships and donations by preparing outreach materials and tracking commitments.
Assist in coordinating event volunteers, including recruitment, training, and scheduling.
Maintain accurate records of contracts, payments, and communications.
Support creation of event marketing materials in coordination with United Way staff and partners.
Assist with social media promotion, website updates, and community outreach efforts.
Help manage ticketing and attendee communications.
Assist with event setup, vendor coordination, volunteer direction, and attendee assistance.
Troubleshoot issues and ensure smooth event flow.
Support post-event tear-down and cleanup.
Help with evaluation, budget reconciliation, and thank-you communications.
Support the compilation of event feedback and data for reporting and improvement.
