Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or equivalent experience
  • Project management experience
  • Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)
  • U.S. citizenship required and ability to obtain a Top Secret security clearance

  • Experience throughout engineering lifecycle (system definition, design, build, test and operational deployment)
  • Experience evaluating programmatic and technical risks and effectively developing mitigation activities
  • Experience leading / integrating solutions for geographically disperse teams

  • Experience developing Basis of Estimates (BOEs) and Long Range Schedules for cost and schedule projections

Responsibilities

  • Serve as Control Account Manager Delegate for the Mk7 Separation and Deployment Product with oversight for cost and schedule execution
  • Be responsible for the execution of the delivery of a separation product and deployment product on cost, on schedule, and up to technical standards
  • Oversee scope including design, analysis, test, procurement, and manufacturing
  • Interface with Reentry Operations Center (ROC) to ensure on time delivery of hardware and coordinate timely work stoppage dispositions
  • Interface with finance and planning teams as well as technical team to understand work scope, plan budget, and create schedule tasks
  • Administer Earned Value Management (EVM) best practices across varied engineering organizations as a Control Account Manager delegate
  • Ensure Control Accounts are managed with acceptable Cost, Schedule, and Risk to meet sales and revenue goals by communicating and providing leadership with accurate and up to date status
  • Coordinate the planning, organizing, control, integration and completion of Engineering projects within area of assigned responsibility
  • Collaborating with all levels of personnel within the team, other functional departments, programs, and government personnel
  • Assist Program Managers and leadership with monitoring and evaluating project progress and problem solving, including developing and assisting in managing detailed project plans, timelines, and technical content
  • Support other duties as assigned by IPT Lead including execution of program management duties
