About The Position

The SEO/GEO Specialist, reporting to the Senior Manager, Social & Content, is responsible and accountable for SEO Strategy and Operations. They will lead analysis of consumer & professional-facing websites and content performance, stay abreast of GEO trends and lead partnership with GIT and Global Product Owners for technical optimizations. As a member of the Integrated Brand Experience Team, this work will work with our various marketing teams, cross functionality, and our agency resources to execute strategies that support our growth plans.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field
  • 3+ years of proven experience in digital marketing with hands on optimization and content creation experience

  • MBA and/or Diplomate degree
  • Understanding of agile methodology and process
  • Knowledge of social platform best practices
  • Subject matter expertise in SEO, paid media, and CRM touchpoints
  • Understanding of agile methodology and process

  • Digital literacy pertaining to either the nutrition, commercial, and/or and veterinary space.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage a holistic SEO/ GEO strategy for Hill’s US laddering up to business goals and specific KPI, working collaboratively with pad media, brand and website team.
  • Develop a deep understanding of business, brand and category to develop a strategic POV on how to win on Search for brand.
  • Work with a cross functional team to educate and influence the same.
  • Implement and optimize unified SEO/ GEO strategies and campaigns that align with our content strategy to drive long-term search & generative engine visibility.
  • Performs extensive research (on-page & off-page) against business priorities to fuel roadmap development for site optimisations, working closely with internal & external teams to action optimizations
  • Analyze current technical SEO performance of owned domains, including page speed, site information architecture, page structure, and internal linking structure; identifies and makes recommendations to further optimize each area.
  • Assess meta data and schema gaps & opportunities and leverage tools to optimise and implement.
  • Stay abreast of SEO & GEO trends and keep business updated with core updates, ensuring that considerations are reflected and pivoted where necessary within our strategies.
