About The Position

You will be part of a team responsible for improving the visibility and discoverability of Mercedes-Benz digital platforms across global markets. The team operates at the intersection of content, technology and product, ensuring that our web properties are optimised for both traditional and AI-driven search environments. The focus is on scalable solutions that improve user experience and drive organic growth across multiple markets and languages.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience in SEO, ideally within large-scale or international environments
  • Strong practical experience with tools such as Screaming Frog, SEMrush, Google Search Console and Ahrefs
  • Strong understanding of technical SEO fundamentals including crawling, indexation, structured data, XML sitemaps and Core Web Vitals
  • Solid understanding of how search engines work, including search intent and ranking factors
  • Understanding of HTML and how web structure impacts SEO performance
  • Knowledge of international SEO principles including localisation and hreflang
  • Ability to analyse data, identify patterns and prioritise optimisation opportunities independently
  • Strong communication skills in English

Nice To Haves

  • Have experience with JavaScript and different rendering approaches (server-side or client-side)
  • Have worked on Core Web Vitals optimisation and page speed improvements
  • Have experience managing multilingual or multi-market websites
  • Understand how AI search, generative tools or RAG-based systems impact discoverability
  • Have used Python or automation tools for SEO analysis or reporting
  • Experience working in Agile environments

Responsibilities

  • Execute technical SEO audits including crawling, indexation, structured data, internal linking and performance
  • Manage SEO initiatives end-to-end, from analysis to implementation, working closely with developers, product teams and UX
  • Evaluate website performance using SEO tools, search data and crawl reports to identify opportunities and risks
  • Contribute to the optimisation of content and technical implementations that improve discoverability across Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT Search, Gemini, and other emerging AI platforms.
  • Support multi-market SEO initiatives including localisation and hreflang implementation
  • Provide clear, actionable insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Produce clear, actionable SEO analyses and recommendations for technical and non-technical stakeholders, driving continuous improvements in organic visibility.
