About The Position
Hercules is looking for a senior or staff level SEO Content Writer to help educate the world on what Hercules is, how it works, and why it matters. The role involves owning Hercules’ SEO content engine end to end, identifying high-value keywords and search opportunities, publishing simple, accurate, clear, and useful long-form content, and monitoring and optimizing existing content to drive traffic and signups. The position also requires leveraging AI to automate workflows and produce a high volume of quality articles.
Requirements
- Exceptional long-form writing ability with a terse, simple, clear, convincing, authentic, and useful style.
- Strong understanding of search intent, content structure, on-page SEO, internal linking, content refreshes, and ranking factors.
- Commercial sense to write content that ranks and converts the audience to paid customers.
- Familiarity with technical concepts like APIs, authentication, hosting, role-based access control, etc.
- Ability to leverage AI to 10x workflow and produce ~50+ high-quality articles a month.
Responsibilities
- Own Hercules’ SEO content engine end to end.
- Identify the highest-value keywords and search opportunities to target.
- Publish long-form content that is simple, accurate, clear, and useful.
- Monitor and optimize existing content until it ranks highly and drives traffic/signups/revenue.
