About The Position

Feathery is seeking an SEO Content Marketer & Writer to own the strategy and execution of their organic search presence. This role involves researching buyer search intent in wealth management and insurance, creating content that ranks for these searches, and converting that traffic into pipeline. The position is hands-on, requiring the individual to write the majority of the content themselves, translating complex financial services workflows into credible and useful content. The role offers the opportunity to see the direct impact of one's work on traffic and pipeline as the company scales.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in SEO and content marketing, ideally for a B2B SaaS, fintech, or financial services audience.
• Strong writing skills with the ability to explain technical or regulated subject matter clearly and credibly.
• Understanding of modern SEO end-to-end: keyword and intent research, on-page optimization, content structure, internal linking, and technical fundamentals.
• Comfortable with tools like Ahrefs, Semrush, Google Search Console, and analytics platforms, and making data-driven decisions.
• Ability to take a topic from research to published, ranking page without heavy oversight.

Nice To Haves

• Direct experience writing for financial services (wealth management, insurance, lending, or payments).
• Familiarity with how SEO is shifting toward AI-driven and answer-based search.
• Hands-on experience building and shipping marketing pages in Webflow.

Responsibilities

• Own Feathery’s SEO content strategy—identifying the topics, keywords, and buyer intents worth ranking for across wealth management and insurance.
• Research, write, and publish high-quality content: pillar pages, solution and use-case pages, comparison content, and blog posts.
• Optimize existing pages and site structure to grow rankings, organic traffic, and conversion.
• Partner with product, design, and go-to-market to ground content in real customer workflows and turn traffic into pipeline.
• Track performance against rankings, traffic, and pipeline goals, and use those results to sharpen strategy over time.
• Help shape how Feathery shows up in AI-driven and answer-based search as the channel evolves.
