Requirements

  • Laboratory or QC techniques required.
  • Basic Sensory evaluation capability / food manufacturing industry experience preferred.
  • Operational experience and affinity on laboratory systems, analytical equipment and instruments and microbiological testing experience is preferred
  • Knowledge of chemical substances, hazardous material and related local regulations.
  • Diploma/Degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, Analytical Chemistry, Microbiology
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply, however preferrable to have minimum 2 years experience in QC

Nice To Haves

  • Basic Sensory evaluation capability / food manufacturing industry experience preferred.
  • Operational experience and affinity on laboratory systems, analytical equipment and instruments and microbiological testing experience is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Prepare product and raw material samples for sensory in accordance with standard procedures.
  • Perform sensory evaluation, chemical, physical testing of flavoring products or ingredients to ensure that products are conforms to requirements standard and specification.
  • Responsible for approval/rejection decisions on finished products and raw materials and review of test methods, specifications and procedures/work instructions
  • Assist in quality investigations and non-conformances of products and raw materials
  • Maintain laboratory equipment, monitor calibration schedules, and ensure instruments are in good working condition
  • Carry out daily work activities in compliance with FSSC 22000 food safety standards and EHS practices
