Requirements

Must possess and have the ability to maintain a TS/SCI clearance with Poly
BS 2-4 Years or MS 0-2 in Imaging Science, Physics, Engineering, Mathematics or related STEM field.
Working knowledge of Image Quality Equations (IQEs) to include creation and application.
Basic understanding of simulation and modeling techniques or the image creation process.
Working knowledge of imagery systems to include basic types of PAN, IR, and RADAR.
Working knowledge of various basic ELTs, Matlab, and mathematics/equations/functions.
Basic knowledge of sensor types to include airborne, space-borne, and FMV.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
Proficient in oral and written communication skills
Able to develop and use more complex concepts and processes, conduct root cause problem analysis and develop technical solutions to problems

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with current GEOINT systems, products and development, as well as exploitation software packages such as all ELTs, AGITK, and other software plug-ins or applications necessary to develop test and verification methodologies.
Ability to work independently or collaboratively

Responsibilities

Provide support to the NGA Integration Test and Image Quality Office (TAC) which is the primary integration testing and quality assurance organization.
Assist with providing independent verification and validation of software and hardware, and information system releases prior to operations.
Source, select, and qualify components used in the company’s technology.
Investigate alternate component technologies or supplies, reducing cost and improving quality and reliability.
Act as technical interface between component/production suppliers and development engineers, determining new and alternate sources.
Investigate alternate component technologies or supplies for reduced cost or improved quality and reliability, and implement changes.
Develop guidelines/procedures on vendor selection.
Evaluate supplier change notification and qualify changes, as needed.
May maintain component data management system including qualification records/results/documentation.
