Cedars of Marin provides day programs and residential opportunities for adults with developmental disabilities. Founded in 1919, our exceptional person-centered programs and services have supported individuals in living creative, productive, joyful, and healthy lives for more than a century. Cedars Textile Collaborative (TAC) offers Cedars clients fun, inspiring, and creative day programs. We are currently looking for a compassionate and skilled part-time Senior Program Instructor to join our Senior Program! As a Senior Program Instructor, you will work with Cedars clients to determine and plan meaningful daily activities that promote engagement, creativity, and connection. Activities may include community-based projects, volunteer opportunities, and on-site music, art, and other creative projects. The TAC Program is set on more than two dozen acres overlooking San Anselmo. This beautiful, remote property includes a community garden, art barn studio space, upgraded kitchen, weaving studio, and more! This position will require some degree of hands-on caregiving (including assistance with personal hygiene, toileting, etc.) based on each participant’s individual needs. If you are a patient, supportive, and creative individual who wants to help others succeed and enjoy meaningful daily experiences, we encourage you to apply!
